Hello all, right now I have a clear image of what I want my music video to be like. I have decided that I want to make a music video for 'I cant believe that you're in love with me.' This is a great jazzy song written in the 1930s by Billie Holiday, a great jazz musician that has wrote many great jazz songs.
This may have been a bit too soon but because I am sure what song I'm gonna play I have already asked for auditions online, on sites like Whatsapp and Snapchat. So far I have 23 applicants for the roles of Guitarist, Singer, Pianist, Trumpeter, Drummer, Actors and Saxophonist (which will be me because i play the Sax). I have told them all to listen to the song and see if they can start practicing for they'er part. I told actors that they will just be getting filmed holding another actors hand and pretending to be in a couple. When I have got the sheet music sorted i will make a group chat on Whatsapp and tell them to upload their auditions on to the group to stay safe from Covid 19.
Here below are different versions of the song that I have taken inspiration from for the song but please note that these are not really music videos as they are performed live mostly. I have taken inspiration of Andrea Motis's Music video of 'He's Funny that way' also by Billie Holiday, the video is great as it is in black and white for the first part of the song until she stars playing the trumpet.
